Before & After School Care at Lockhart

At Lockhart Elementary, we’re proud to offer safe and structured care for our scholars before and after school, at no additional cost to families.

  • 🏫 Building Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • 🛎️ Front Desk Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

  • 🚪 Arrival Info:
     • 1st–5th grade scholars may enter the building as early as 6:30 AM through the gated drop-off area near the covered pavilion/cafeteria.
     • Pre-K and Kindergarten scholars may enter starting at 7:30 AM.

  • 🌟 After Care Details:
     • Runs daily until 5:00 PM
     • Supervised by Lockhart staff
     • Includes homework time, digital learning, and a light snack
     • Prompt pickup by 5:00 PM is required
     • After 3 late pickups, students will no longer be eligible for After Care and must be picked up at their regular dismissal time (3:00 PM for Pre-K–1st; 4:00 PM for 2nd–5th)
