Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!

Dear Lockhart Families,

As we prepare to return from Winter Break and begin the second semester, I am honored and excited to officially step into the role of Principal of Lockhart Elementary. I am deeply grateful for the support, trust, grace, and partnership you have shown—not only during this transition, but throughout your continued commitment to our school community.

Lockhart is a truly special place because of its families. Your advocacy for your children, your engagement with our campus, and your belief in the work we do each day do not go unnoticed. It is because of your support that we are able to create a school environment where scholars feel safe, loved, challenged, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. Please know that my commitment to our scholars is unwavering, and I will continue to lead with their best interests at the center of every decision.

I would also like to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation to Principal Emerson for her exceptional leadership and lasting legacy at Lockhart. Her dedication, vision, and heart for students and families have shaped the strong foundation we stand on today. I am incredibly thankful for her guidance, mentorship, and the example she has set, and I am honored to continue the work she so passionately led.

As we begin this next chapter together, I look forward to strengthening our partnership with you and building upon the many successes of our school. I am excited about what lies ahead and confident that, together, we will continue to help every Lockhart scholar grow, achieve, and shine.
